Ashmore Photography & Print EU General Data Protection Regulation
Ashmore Photography & Print have always taken data protection seriously, and as of 25 May 2018 new European data protection laws come into force that mean I have to be even more clear on what data we collect, how we process your personal data, where it is stored and for how long.
Being a photographer means the images I take at your event or photographic session, have been used for the promotion of my business via my websites, social media, other published platforms, websites and printed media. I also store these images on multiple hard drives for as long as possible, for our mutual benefit.
As per the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 the photographer owns all rights, title and interest in and to the images, and as the client you have always had the right not to have your photographs used for any form of advertising.
Under the new EU regulations I must now receive express written permission to use and store your images. Therefore if you could please take a few moments to answer the questions below I would be most grateful.
It only takes a minute to confirm, and you can change your mind at any time by notifying me in writing or email.
