Are you insured?

Ensuring all your vendors are insured is crucial. I have professional and public liability insurance, along with PAT certification. Copies can be provided to your venues upon request. Additionally, you might want to explore wedding insurance coverage for your big day as well.

What is your booking fee?

A booking fee of £200 is necessary to reserve your date in my calendar. Alongside this, a brief questionnaire and signature on the contract are also required.

When is the balance due?

Your balance is due 30 days before your wedding, and we send out automatic invoice reminders at intervals. Additionally, we offer convenient payment plans at no extra cost, allowing you to spread out the payments hassle-free.

What happens if you are ill?

Being self-employed, I take great pride in being reliable. Barring extreme circumstances like my own incapacitation, I’m committed to being there. However, I do have trusted alternatives who could step in if necessary.

How many photos can I expect to receive?

How many photos can I expect to receive? I don’t provide a specific number guarantee because every wedding is distinct. Rather than adopting a “spray and pray” approach, I focus on delivering the best moments captured from your day. You’ll receive as many of these high-quality photos as possible.

Can we ask for specific photos during the wedding day?

Certainly! I encourage you to inform me of anyone special you’d like to have a photo with. Guests often request quick family portrait sessions, which I accommodate at suitable times throughout the day, ensuring they don’t interrupt important parts of your day such as your first dance.

What happens after the wedding? When will we see the finished gallery?

After the wedding, once all images are securely backed up, I begin the process of selecting and enhancing the best shots. This includes color correction and enhancement, prioritizing efficiency without sacrificing quality. During peak season, this may take up to 8 weeks. Subsequently, the images are uploaded to your personal, secure online gallery, which you can choose to share with friends and family. You’ll then select your favorite images for the products included in your package. Typically, the first draft of your album is ready within 72 hours, followed by a collaborative finalization process before sending it to print. Your order usually arrives within 6 weeks thereafter.

Can we have a mix of colour and black & white images?

Absolutely! During editing, I use my professional judgment to determine whether an image looks best in color or black & white. Since my editing technique is non-destructive, I can easily adjust the photo to match your preference. Additionally, I’m happy to accommodate special requests for sepia toning or spot color if desired.

Do we receive all the images on a USB?

Absolutely! Following your wedding photography session, you’ll receive a USB containing all high-resolution images captured on your special day. This ensures you have every cherished moment to revisit whenever you like. If you have any preferences or special requests regarding image delivery, feel free to discuss them with us.

What albums do you offer?

I offer a diverse selection of albums tailored to suit your preferences. With over 60 material and color choices, 3 different sizes, and numerous personalized options, you’re sure to find the perfect fit for your memories. Your album will be elegantly presented in a matching keepsake box, accompanied by a USB for convenient digital access. Contact us to arrange a consultation and explore a range of sample albums available for viewing at our studio.

How many photos can we include in the album?

Like your wedding, the album will be personal to you. I love seeing the very best images from your day put together to tell a story and most couples choose between 60-120 images for the album. Additional spreads can be added to accommodate more images up to a maximum of 80 sides.

Who owns the copyright to the images?

I prioritize transparency and respect for intellectual property rights. As the photographer, we retain the copyright to all images captured during your wedding photography session. However, we understand the importance of sharing and preserving your special moments. That’s why we provide you with a license granting you personal use rights, allowing you to print, share, and cherish your wedding memories for years to come. If you have any questions or specific requests regarding image usage, feel free to discuss them with us during your consultation.
